Otaki Club Completes Its Championships
The Otaki Miniature Rifle Club has completed its championship matches. The club title went to A. Hobbs, while Miss R. Egdell won both the women's and R grade championships. The C grade championship was annexed by J. Duncan. (From a possible of 900 scores were: — A grade : A Hobbs 880, R. Stocking 871, N. Monk 870, N. Pickett 869, W. Deller 864, L. Cooksley 862, R. Monk 856, R. Windley 847, P. Stocking 835 and T. Silverwood 805. B grade: Miss R. Edgell 872, J. Clark 861, B. Wilson 833, F. Rowe 825, H. Stowers 825, N. Flyger 816, H. Taylor 795, W. Beauchanip 794, Miss B. Monk 784 and T. Gimblett 767. C grade: J. Duncan 838, L. Gimblett 820, Miss M. Deller 813, A. Flutey 803, R. Kernahan 802, B. Geange 797, G. Strom 794, B. Andrews 793, Miss B. Ross 792, D. Marieno 783, B. Taylor 768, R. McKeen 766, R. Marshall 755, A. Jackson 748, T. Cobb 734 and B. Anderson 704. Ohau Club. The first shoot of the Ohau club's extra series was fired recently under the old system of handicapping. F. Catley and F. Haley fought hard to gain the honours, the former winning by the small margin of 0.2. Including handicaps, scores were: F. Catley 198.13, F. Haley 198.11, Miss C. Hunter 198.10, J. Horn 198.9, V. G.
