Wedding Bells In Levin
' A recent wedding in St, John's Methodist Church, Levin, was that between Phyllis Eleanor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Jameson, to James Laurence, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. W, Tantrum. Rev. H, S. Kings was the ofiiciating minister and Mrs, Hutton piayed the wedding music. * Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a silver lame frock with a vee neckline, long fitting sieeves and fully trained skirt. Her flowers were blue irises and she w.ore grange bigssem on her head and veil. . - She was attended by Mrs. J. Wai'tnaby as matrgn of hengur and Miss S. Stevens as bridesmaid, both of whom were frocked alike in green spgtted net. They wore a semi-circle of carnations in their hair. , Beverley Arin Jameson, sister of the bride, and Judith Baidham ■ acted as fiower girls. They were attired in pink and blue velvet with "Bo-Peep" hats tied under " the chin with . velvet bows." The best man was Mr. Harry Lyver and the groomsman Mr. W, Ward. During the signing of the register Mrs. N. Harrington sang "I'll -Walk. Beside You." 4 At the reeeption the bride's mother wore teal crepe, with navy accessories, while the bridegroom's mother chose a 'floral frock with black accessories. The church and reeeption room were. decorated with spring flowers ' in coiours toning with those featured in the dresses of the bridal party. - , The •beautiful three-tiered wedding cake was made and- given by .the bride's aunt from Auckland. For travelling the bride was attired in a beige crepe frock with lace yoke, and mink fur coat with wine accessories. Their future home will be in Levin.
