Cabinet Disagrees On Prices And Wages Policy

Received Thursday, 9 a.m. PARIS, Oct. 5. ' The French Premier, Dr. Henri Queuille resigned to^ay. Dr. Queuille's . Coalition GovernM, Vineent Auriol, that Cabinet had faiied to agree on a wages and prices policy. An ofiicial communique issued after the Cabinet meeting said- that as the result of persistent disagree-' ment within the Government on salaries and prices, Dr. Queuille had decided to abandon attempts to settle the problem of raising the abnormally low salaries.. M. AuriOl, who has been holidaying in the country, returned to Paris and received Dr. Queuille's resignation. , tDr. Queuille's Coalition Government, which took office nearly 13 months ago, has had the longest reign of any of the eight post-war French Governments. When it was established, observers predicted that it would last only a few days.
