The executive has decided to ask the Minister in Chafge of this service to cariy out these plans. Members of the executive felt that the occupation of a baby ptter had become of national import- ■ ance.' One member said that some baby sitters were paid five shillings hoiirly, but that the problem was to get theirn. The president of the exequtive, Mr. A. S." l\IcAlpine, said that if an award were niade baby sitters would come under the Miscellaneoiis Workers' Union.
