AUCKLAND, Oct. 3. Italian experts on the use of geothermal steam for the generation . of electric power, may be brought out to New- Zealand to advise the Government on this work. This was stated by the Minister of Works, Mr Semple, today. Dr. Alfreda Mazzoni, Italian engineer who has supervised the restoration ot the Larderellt geothermal steam .station following wartime damage, is a leading expert and it is expected he may be accompanied by Professor Semenza, professor of engiheering at Mi-. Ian University. Dr. Mazzoni does not speak Engligh. Preliminarv negotiations for this visit were carried out by the Commissioner of Works, Mr E. R. McKillop, when he was in Italy recently.
