Devaluation Brings Travel Dollars to Britain
LONDON, Oct. 3. Yesterdav 360 dollar-paying passengers came to London in nin§ transAtlantie flights. It was the first day of the winter season's eheap return tickets. An average of 40 passengers a plane eompared with September's average of fewer than 20 per plane. An Ameriean Overseas Airlines official, predicting a record winter season of travel between America and England, said devaluation and cheap return fares had caused . an unpreeedented number of inquiries in New York for east-bound travel.
