Personal Mr. W. Hlll, of the Westport police force, is spending a few days as the guest of his sister and •brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. Murdoch, Margaret Street. Frost Causes Damage. Although yesterday morning's frpst was only slight, it was heavy enough to cause damage in many vegetable gardens in the distriet. Early potatoes and tomato plants suffered as well as young flower plants. More Work Yet. There iis still consMerable work to be done on the domain cycle track and members and followers of the local athletic and cycling club are reminded that a further working hee will gather at the domain tomorrow inorning. A full committee meeting of the club will be held in the Parish Hall on Wednesday evening, commencing at 8 p.m.
