WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. On Friday last the House of Repre sentatives waxed hot and strong about the use of Ministerial motor cars. On Saturday a party of about 300 guests of the Government went to Shannon from Wellington to eelebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Man gahao hydro-electric scheme. About 200 of the guests went in private cars, but the balance of over 100 used Go vernment railway buses. Hosts for the day were the State Hydro-Electric De partment, and the guests included dele gates to two poWer authority conferences which have been held in Wellington this week.
