State Porest Service. *** Maori tribes are so organised as to justify from every viewpoint the j management of permanent communai' I forests of the kind whicli have been | successfully administfered for centuries I in parts of the Old World, the report says. Large areas of Maori land would, under proper management I bring steady revenu-e to the owners ] and • provide permanent employmem of a type for which Maoris are eminontly fitted.
