More Labour Candidates Announced

WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. Five sitting members of Parliament were unanimously endorsed as -candidates for the general election at a meeting of the national executive of the Labour Party this morning. They are Messrs. C. H. jChapman (Wellington Central), E. T. Tirikatehe (Southern Maori), j t. P. Paikea (Northern Maori), T. t o. Mana (Eastern Maori), and M. Ratana (Western Maori). !The Labour Party has now selected 74 candidates and it is ex!pected that selections for the remaining six seats will be complete d within a few days. The seats for which candidates have not yet been announced are Waitomo, Roskill, Hauraki, Franklin, Waikato and Wallace. _ _____
