The death occurred at Surrey Hiils, Sydney, on September 21, ofSarah Helen, sister of Mr. J. D. Ashdown, Te Horo. Narrowly Missed Golf Title. At Waiohiki, Napier, at the weekend; Zane Gray narrowly misse'd toecoming national Maori golf champion. In the final match of the annual tournament 'he was one up and four to play, but his opponent,' T. P. Jones, of Taumarunui, won the last four holes and the title.
