AUCKLAND, Sept. 28. No , imp.ortant developments are expected in conneetion with the Waikato mines strike tomorrow. It was stated by an authority that the case cannot be referred to the local disputes committee because it has no jurisdiction on questions of safety in mines. No mass meeting of miners has ' been , called for tomorrow but there will probably be a meeting of the union executive and another .of mine managers. It was stated that the man who was considered inexperienced had been working on the machine for four to five months.
