Thc entry contained some quality pens of heifers, prime heavy beasts topping the market at £19 13s 6d. The best price for ox was obtained at £25 13s 6d. Generally ox-beef wa# inclined to be shelly. Prime ox changed hands at £24 18s 6d to £25 13, s 6d, mediuin quality bringing £23 8s 6d to £2-i 8s 6d and light and unfinished £17 18s 6d to'£22 13s 6d. Prime heavy heifort were traded at £19 3s Od to £19 13s 6d.
