Penny Postage Will Not Be Restored

WELLINGTON, Sept: 28. The penny surcharge on postage imposed during the war is not to be resoinded. This was made clear in the House of Repfesentatives yesterday by. the Postmaster-General (Mr. Hackett), during consideratioh of the Eetimates of his Department.
