Arrangements For School Gala Day
An enthusiastic meeting of the State School gala day committee was heM on Wednesday night, Mr. H. Taylor presiding. Many offers of help were forthcoming and arrangemenfcs were reported to be most satisfactory. As the resuit of card evenings, a bottle drive and the proceeds of the picture benefit to be staged on Wednesday, 28, the sum of £100 was reported to be in sight. It was agreed that a children's
fancy dress parade, heade'd fcy the Otaki Band, leave the post ofhce at 1.30 p.m. Judges for the procession and fcr the baby show were appointed and a further meeting will be held on Thursday next.
