TARANAKI TOO GOOD FOR NORTH OTAGO
OAMARU, Sept. 21. Taranaki defeated North Otago 20 — 3 at the Showgrounds this afternoon in perfeet conditions. Points came from five tries* (two conversions) and a goal from a penalty to a goal from a penalty. The scrums were fairly even but Taranaki dominated the lineouts and loose play, setting up passing rushes from all positions to outclass the opposition .
