Dairy Factory Workers
Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Wellington branch of the Dairy Factory Workers' Union, held in Palmerston North, were as follow: President, Mr. D. Fitzgerald (Shannon); i vice-president, Mr. G. Paine (Awahuri); vse'cretarv, Mr. C. Gough; executive, j Messrs E.. Hemmingsen (Bunnythorpe), ' R. Freeman (Bunnythorpe), C. Williams (Palmerston North), J. Bracken (Awahuri), H. Temperton (Kairanga), S. ' Howard (Kairanga), K. Algar (Glen Oroua), ahd II. J. Webb (Feilding;. , The meeting was attended by a record number of workers representing factories in all parts of the Wellington dis- ' -tx'ict and the national secretary (Mr. L. Robertson) was present. At the conclusion of the meeting there was a social evening and items contributed by dairy workers from a numb,er of f&ctoriejs were enjoyed.
