Personal. Mrs. Curry, who has been staying with her inother,- Mrs. C. B. Gunnings, Bryce street, has returned to her home at Thames. Miss M. Parlato, formerly of Moutoa, has been a visitor to this district bidding farewell to frignds prior to her 'departure for Australia. Badminton Games. There was a good attendance of members at the weekly club night of the Shannon Badminton Club on Monday. In view of the Druids' Hall becoming unavailable within a short time, it was agreed that the club officially close its 1949 season on Saturday night. An invitation is extended to members and supporters to be present.
