QUESTIONS F^R^EVilkYBODY Concerning pepaftiird At Death £)0 you kno#itha,t fherei'is no man that hath power over the Spirit to retain the Spirit? (See Eccles. 8:8.) Do you know.that our mortal body is just the house, or Tabernacle (Tent), which we dwell in while here? Do you know that the Christian believer can say, "For we know that if our earthly house (mortal body) of this tabernacle were desolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands,* eternal in the heavens, note (not earth, see 2 Cor. 5:1). Do you know that whilst we are at home in the body (this mortal body), we are atysent from the Lord? We are confident and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord (see 2 Cor. 5: 6-8.) 'Remember, we will not be absent from the body in the resurrection so that the above Scriptures do not refer to the resurrection, but the presont. BIBLE TRUTH. Human Nature — What Is It? THE Bible teaches that MAN IS A CREATURE OF DUST FORMATION, whose individuality and faculties are the attributes of his bodily organisation. "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man beeame a living soul." (Heb. nephesh chaiyah, living creature— Gen. 2:7.) "Male and female ereated He them, and called their name Adam (i.e., red earth) in the day when they were created" (Gen. 5:2), "The Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden to till the ground from whence he was t'aken" (Gen. 3:23). "I also am formed out of the clay" (Job 33:6). "Whose (man's) foundation is in the dust" (Job 4: 19). "He knoweth our frame, he remembereth that we are dust" (Psalm 103:14). Further Scriptural quotations showing forth the true nature of the -man will be submitted, God willing, in this column next week, free literature giving much more comprehensive details is available to anyone interested o'n application to H.
