57 Donors Offered Blood To Hospital
Th6 12-year-old boy who offered to become a blood donor for the palmerston North Hospital Board was not aceepted when the call was made In Levin on Thursday night, but his mother was a VQlunt'eer. . It is reported that the boy went to the extent of offering a quarter of a pint in view of the objection to his age. When the district nurse's rooms opened there were 57 donors offering of the 60 required. The hospital's representative said that he was very pleased indeed with the response from- Levin. ■ 1 i 1 »
