WELLINGTON, SepL 16. The Marton Jockey Club's meeting tomorrow has drawn such large fields that it has been necessary to provide divisions for three of the events. With the Otaki meeting opening the following weekend, form at Marton will be followed with much interest, as the majority of the runners have been nominated for Otaki. The track is expected to be in good ordei*.

Although beaten into fifth place in the Higgie Handicap at Wanganui last week Parlous' prospects in the Marton Handicap are regar'ded as much brighter than at Wanganui. Most opposition is likely to come from Beau-Or, who is . improving with racing, Silver Pal, who raced well at Wanganui, Bright Side and Hulabaloo. Faultina has come into strong demand for the sprint and on Taranaki running the topweight will no doubt make his presence felt. However, La Modelle's grand finishing effort at Foxton should be remembered and it would occasion no surprise whatsoever if La Modeiie repeats the dose , an'd makes it two on end. Dallas' third at Taranaki was a good effort and an improvement is expected. Out of hacks Spandau is' making his open company debut1 and is not withouc prospects. Others likeiy to race well are Blue Skimmers, Full of Fun and Destination. " Other meetings set down for tomorrow are Tnames, Ashburton and the opening day of the Auckland TrocS.
