TCARACHI, Sept. 14. A half-nnked faldr, said to have the power of killing peonle with a puff of his breath, was questioned by the police today. During the morning the fakir had tried to entor a mosque but as he was dirty and ill-clad, the muezzin (assistant priest) told him to go away. The fakir thon blew through his liand at the muezzin who walker! back into the mosque arid fell down dead. A policeman arrested the fakir and took him to-tlie police station. News of his exploit spread quicklv and an excited crowd suyrounded the station and made gifts of sweets and flowers to the fakir. A little while later, however, the fakir was released. A post-mortem examination showed that the muezzin had died of a heart attack and a police offieer said the fakir was mentally unsound.
