Police Of 38 Countries Plan Co-operation

LONDON, Sept. 13. Tliirty-eight countries will be represented at a meeting mf the International Police Commission at Berne, Switzerland, early next month. The chief purpose of the meeting is to evolve plans for improving international cooperation in checking crime and t.racing criminals who attempt to seek sanctuary b}r fleeing to other countries. For some time past Scotland Yard has been receiving visits from senior foreign police officers who have discussed these plans. One result has already been the adoption of an international code in which descriptions of wanted mcn can be speedily transmitted abroad.
