Mental Hospital Loyalty.
Despite the shortage of staff m New Zealand mental hospitals no accommodation^ was kept v&eant, as was done in some New Zealand hospitals, says the annual report on the DOminion's mental hospitals. The report adds that on_y loyal and uncomplainmg staff service. made this possible. Training Of Pilots. The first course of 11 pilots to train under the new scheme evoived from experience with the Empire training plan will receive wings at a passing-out ceremony at Wigram next Friday. A navigators' and signallers' course will also graduate. Known as the "all-through" training method,.the scheme allows the full training syllabus to be carried out at one station without having- to change location. Loss of travelling time between stationS, the need for becorhing accustomed to new en^ vironments and the inevitable lack of concentration through change are eliminated, Both courses hay© taken 18 months^longer than the wartime courses.
