United States Of Europe Necessary
PARIS, Sept. 9. The European Consultative Assembly at. Strasbourg ended its first historie meeting soon after midnight when in his closing speech, the President (Mr. Sr»aak) said: "We have confirmed the idea of a politically united Europe." The Assemblv had been in session since August 10 and will probably reconvene in the first quarter of 1950. . Mr. Spuak said: "I have long thoughtj a United States of Europe neeessary, ' and I leavo Strasbourg couvioiced that. 9 United States of Europa is poBsibla." I
