TIMARU, Sept. 7. Weight and drive in the forwards wlien near their opponents' line, gave Canterbury the victory over South Canterbury by 16 points to 13 in the annual Rugby representative match in Timaru today. Canterbury had the better of the first spell but lost u great deal of dash after the interval, , with costly errors by the inside baeks wliich let the quiek breaking home forwards through with the ba.ll at their toes. Bryce w'ent well in tlie tight for South Canterbury. Couling, Bond and Z.. Dalzell were the head of the Canterbury short passing forward rushes.
