Shooting Shield To Poroutawhao

The Horowhenua Miniature Rifle Association's inter-club competition has now concluded. Poroutawhao won the championship shield with a total of 50 points. Levin gained 48 points, Ohau 4GT and Otaki 16. In the A grade Ohau ■ are the winners- with 14 points. Poroutawhao gained 12, Levin 10 and -Otaki 4. ' The B grade resulted in a tie between Ohau, Levin and Poroutawhao, who each secured 12 points. This necessitated deci'ding the competition on the aggregate points scored by each club in all B grade matches; in consequence Ohau win the honours with a total of 3845 points, followed by Poroutawhao with 3832 and Levin with 3829. Honours in the C grade go to Poroutawhao with 14 points. Levin, were second with 12 and Ohau third with 10, while Otaki notched 4 points. The D grade. shield goes to Levin with 14 points. Poroutawhao secured 12, Ohau 10 and Otaki 4.
