Sydney Newspapers to Sell At 3d SYDNEY, Sept. 5v The evening dailies, Sun and Mirror, announce that as from September 12,v the price will be increased from 2d to 3d a copy. The new price has been approved by the Prices Commissioner "because of extarordinary costs beyond the control of the newspapers. ' ' This afternoon the Sun says newsprint costs have increased from £14 to £60 per ton in ten years and all methods of obtaining news have made similar increases.
