Bulk Milk Collections. The first two of a proposed fleet o/ 60 motor-tankers are making bulk collections of milk for the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company's factorv at Waitoa. The full fleet will serve the Waitoa. Waharoa, Te Awamutp an'd Matangi factories. Under the new system the milk is pumped direct from the farmer's milking-shed eon-ainer into the tanker. Provision is made for the codection of samples. It is expected that the tankers will effect big savings in transport . and manpower in handling milk cans at the factory.
