Aratiean newspaper Osservatore Romnno, sgid that the Oatholie religion in Poland Avas being attacked and insulted, aecording to the Yatican radio.. The.letter said; "Nearly all Oatholie assoeiations in Poland have been snppressed, religious teaching in sehools has been prohibitod, the exfensiou of institutiops under Ihe eare of nuns and priests has been prevented, the Catholie religion is being attacked and insulted and a eelisorship i-s ereating obstacles to anything tliat is being written. It is beeoming more and niore difficult to practiso religion." The Aesocjftted Press Prague correspondent says the Czeeli Government announeed a new law providing tliat it may shift ten churt-h holidays, ineluding Good Fri^ay, froip working davs to Sundays "in the economie interosts • of the State.
