Question In House About Otaki Bridge

In the House of Representatives on Thursday, Mr. J. J. Maher, MF., asked the Minister of Works, when the widening of the Main Road from Otaki bridge to the raLway ramp would be commenced and when the Otaki River Bridge woul'd be begun. Mr. Maher said that land for the road was taken in 1938 and all fences had been put back in preparaHon for the widening. The 'question was set down for next question day.
