Sneezing Bout Said To Have Caused Accident
— That a sudden bout of sneezing had been responsible for the incident was the defence put forward hy Darcy Quinn, of Lower Hutt, when, as the resu1t of an accident at the end of the Ohau Bridge, he was charged in the Levin Court yesterday with driving without due care and attention. ■ ft It was stated that defendant's car had run into the rear of another car waiting to go acro'ss the bri-dge. He was convicted and fined £2, court cos+s being £1 4s. The magistrate, Mr. A. A. McLachlan, $-M„ commented that he would take the expla nation into consideration, although he said defendant must have heen dangerously close' to the other car."
