Public Not To Know How Shop Was Entered
AUCKLAND, Sept. 1. The suppression of evidence eoneerning the method used in an alleged shopbreaking, brought against Colin William Glass, aged 37, salesman, and All>ert Havwood, aged 40, eireus hand, was ordered by Messrs T. Kelly and A. J. Pearce, J.P. 's. Henior Detective Hav, who proseeuted, said it was not desirable that the general public should know the method rluit aecused were alleged to have used ' t'o gain entry to a shop iu Que'eii V Areade. He therefore applied for the suppression of evidence. '■ Accuscd both entered pleas of not. guilty. Each accused was eommitted ! io the Supreme Court for trial.
