Boy Tries Santa Claus Chimney Trick

, WANGANUI, August 31. Father Christmas slithers down the sitting-room chimney easily, but little boys should not try. One Wanganui East seven-year-old knows this. He tried it. Three children -were left at home by their parents under the care of a girl. Having to go on a brief shopping expedition she preferred to leave the three in the yaTd rather than in the house. A seven-year-old boy took this as a challenge and decided to enter the house. He chose the chimney. When only his head and shoulders were out of the chimney he panicked and was in dire danger of losing his handhold. He yelled wildly. His sistei' dashed next door and the neighbour's nine-year-old son chose the tankstand route as the speediest to reach the seven-year-old who was dragged out frightened, thankful and exceedingly dirty.
