Polish Communist Activity
Received Tuesday, 10.35 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 22. According to the Associated Press' Vatiean City eorrespondent a Vatiean source said today that Polish Communists have began to remove crucifixes from schools, farms and factories. Reports received said that the Communists had profaned holy places and images. At Lodz they were alleged to have entered the chapel of St. Barbara and destroyed sacred pictures and statues. Similar acts are said to have occurred at Grodec.
