The New York Times today published a report by Dr. Colin Clark Australian Government economist, stating that United States' productivity was 81 times greater than the Sbwiet Union 's, This is based on his research into national production per man hour, covering 40 countries. Dr. Clark said Russia 's productivity was low enough to place her in a class with the backward countries ' of Eastern Europe such as Hungary, Yugoslavia and Rumania. United-Stat.es, New Zealand and Oanada led the world with Australia and Britain just behind them.
