First Round Of Nash Cup Decided

"Bf defeating Athletic 11 — 3 on Saturday, Shannon won the Horowhenua Rugby Union's senior cohipetition, also maintaining an unbeaten record for the season, having played 13 games with 11 wihs and two draws. Athletic, the ruhners up, with 20 points ; as against Shannon's 24, have played 13 games with nine wins, two iosses and two draws. The first round of the Nash Cup was played in conjunction with the final of the senior competition -and resulted in wins - for Shannon, Rahui and Otaki. Wanderers had a bye. These four teams will compete on Saturday, as follows: Otaki v. Rahui at Otaki, 2 p.m.; Wanderers V.
