Local Boxer Impresses In Wellington Bout
Displays of bright hard boxing were seen at the Wellington town hall during,. the week, and showing a contiriuatipn of the improved form he displayed in their "last meeting, Bob= Hakaraia gave Bob Elley a hard fight, Hakaraia used fiis left to advantage, and bccasionally followed up with a solid right upper-cut. The second ' round of their fight was outstanding with the advaiitage slightly with Hakaraia. In the third Elley did the forcing, and Hakaraia whose lack of condition was starting to tell, back-pedalled.
