I A New Zealand winner of a Ro'-ary International foundation fellowship, Mr. J. M. Fraser, of Dunedin, arrived in the Aorangi on Wednesday. He spent a full acfvdemic year at the University of California, where he did research vn American naval history for a doctorate of philosophy. Mr. Fraser and Mr. Peter Dempsey were the first New Zealanders to be awardj ed fellowships. jPanic Buving. I Travel in 41 fcountries in 16 monfchs has convinced Mr. A, S. Mitchell, of Melbourne, immediste past-president of Rotary International, that there is a universal desire for international friendship. Mr. Mitchell was the first i Australasian to be appointed to .Rotary's highest office. He had ,his headquarters in Chicago, but ihis Rotary activities meant he had ot travel over 100,000 miles.
