He wa$ remanded for a weeh in custodv. •Tt is alleged that, wishing to see his wife, he went ,to the horae of her parents at Towai and when slve refused to see him, he fired several shots from a .22 calibre repeating rifle towards fhe house and then disappeared in the bush.
