Trevor Searanke Wins Road Cycling Race

Saturday's road cycling race from Levin to Motuiti Stafion, a distance of 35 miles, a sealed handicap event, resulted in a win for Trevor Searanke. Peter Elliott was second and Don Yeates third. Allan Rolston occupied fourth place and S. Coutts fifth. Hornig did not complete the distance. Fastest time was recorded by Elliott, with Yeates clocking second best and Searanke third. Next Saturdav a handicap race will be run, starting from the eastern side of the railway line in Queen Street and proceeding to ^Muhunoa and retum. The boys under 15 years of age will ride to Ihakara and back, finishing near the'hospital. — — — ^ mmm —
