Rutherford, present•ed to the House of Representatives today. The figure at March 31, 1948, was £631,614,315 and a year later £641,176,Inereases during 194S-49 were: Bank of New Zealand shares account £1330, national development loans £28,284,425 Reserve Bank excliange adjustment account £20,000,000, securities issued for renewal of loans falling due £965,105, a total of £49,250,860.
