From the kick off Tritt sent the ball to Mortimer to B. Moynihan to M. Moynihan, who s ent to han to M. Moynihan, who sent on to Poutu. He outpaced the opposition to score and Fuller c.onverted. For Shannon ah the forwards played well, with Woods and Sayer outstanding. In the backs Mortimer's kicking and tackiing were a treat to watch. B. Moynihan did not have many chances, but per- , formed very well. M. Moynihan, at 'centre, was the best back on the field. Poutu, on the wing, gave a polished display and his potted goal was a good one. For Wanderers Milroy, as hooker, went very well and looks like being a certainty -for the rep honours. Nepia and Lincoln were also outstanding.
