W. Rzoska Wins Memorial Cup At Golf

The holder of the Tris Harper Memorial Cup for the next year is W. Rzoska, who, by returning a score . of 83 — 14 — 69 on Saturday, brought his total for three rounds L to 211. Runner-up was R. H. Knight with 214, followed by W. D'Ath (215) , N. D. Anderson .(216) and J. Winterburn (218). The medal round played in conjunction on Saturday was won by H. Brunton with 91 — 25 — 66. Next best were R. Knight 77—10 —67,. W. Rzoska 83—14—69, JST.! D. Anderson 85—14—71, W. D'Ath- "77 —4 — 73, J. Winterburn '74 — ser— 74 and L. G. Gimblett 100—24—76. The v annual mixe'd foursomes for the trophies prfesented by Mr. and Mfs. C. Stewart were played on Sunday and resulted in Mrs, Sutherland (one of last year's winners) , partnered this year by T. Mansell, winning witn a nett 71. Miss Clarke and A. Harper were the runners-up with a nett 73. The semi-finals for "the Len Shepherd Memorial Cup will be played next Saturday. P. Wil'is is to play W. D'Ath and L. G. Gimblett to play A. Harper. A bogey will be played in conjunction. One semi-final for the Dovey D'Ath Memorial Cup will be played next Saturday between J. Winterburn an'd H. L. Browne. The other match for this cup was played last Saturday, and resuhed in A. Harper defeating D. G. Sutherland two and one.
