Dairy Science Association Conference
A three-day conference of the New Zealand Dairy Science Association concluded at Massey Agrieultural College yesterday. There were 29 members present. Among the papers read and diseussed were: Zone control of cheese mould, manufacture of blue-vein (fancy) cheese, factors afEecting 'body and structure of butter, carotene metabolism and vapour recompression. Particular interest was sho-vyn in a symposium on dried milk products. The election of officers for the eoming year resulted as follows: President, Mr. W. H. Udy; vice-president, Dr. R. M. Dolby; hon. secretary-treasurer, Mr. W. B: Munimery; committee, Dr. G-. H. Moir, Messrs A. L. Frieberg, J. H. Henson and A. K. R. McDowell.
