"Utopia on the Rocks"

LONDON, August 12. The Scripps-Howard chain of newspapers in the United States, whiclx has a combined circulation of 20,000,000, is to publish next week a series of articles by its senior editor. Mr. E. T. Leech, entitled "Utopia on the Eocks," in which according to preliminary announcements Mr Leech will tell "the shocking truth of the impending crack-np in the British Socialist joyride." The New York World-Telegram introduces the articles under these headings: "What has happened to a once great nation after four years of socialism. How millions of our money has been poured down the drain of political exploitation. How crippling taxes and soaring living costs resulting from high wages and low production are bringing the British people to their knees." Mr. LeeclL spent six weeks in Britain hefore writing the articles.
