Dock Strikes Give Britons More Cars
Received Thursdav, 7 p.m. LONDON, August 11. Largely because of delavs at the docks caused by shipping strikes, nearlv 4000 more cars were released on the British home market in June than in any other month this year. Altogether 14,568 new cars were delivered to distributors and agents compared with the general average of about 10,000 monthly previously. The rnotor trade does not antieipate that increased deliveries will continue on the same scale.
