Four Freedoms For Animals Of World
LONDQN, August 10. The animals of the world should have four rights just as the peoples oi the world have been assured of four freedoms, Dr. C. S. Hopkirk, a former New Zealand Veterinary Service- officer, told the fourteenth International Veterinary Congress. Dr. Hopkirk said the four rights which. the congress should proclaim for anipials were, flrstly, the right to be bred on useful "lines; secondly,'the right to be well fed; thirdly, the right to be kept free from preventible disease; fourthly, the right to produce economieally for the service of mankind. t * i in ■■■■in ^ lllanB''aMaBaak-MaM
