GISBORNE, August 9. The fishing launch Tor, with four pien aboard, ^hich put out from Opotiki at 6' p.m. on Saturday on a night fishing exuedition in the bay. is reported to be overdue. The launch is owned by Mr. Noel Owilliam, of Opotiki, who has with him Messrs. Henry Peawini, Kenneth Henry Nicholls and Neil Wehb, all of Opotiki. Rough seas are running arid the craft is believed to be sheltering off Whale Jsiand.
