A plea of guilty to a charge of assauiting Dr. Edwin Sayes at the Auck land HospitaJL, was entered in the Auckland Police Court today. by c Leonard James Canterbury, aged 27, a Royal iMarine from. the cruiser Bellona. Canterbury became annoyed and struck the doctor vioiently in the face. He. later apologised. ■ A ffoyal Marines officer told the - Court that Canterbury was a most satisfaetory marine and not addicted to drink. Questioned by the Magistrate, Canterbury said he was.
